Phenology Floración
Plant description Terrestrial herb to 60 cm; rhizome is ~1 cm in diameter and 12 cm long; spathe is white with green veins, spadix is yellow, plant attracts pollinator.
Locality and habit remarks Magdalena valley forest, evergreen tropical lowland forest on karst, on a west facing sandy riverbank that can flood, among ferns. In the ravine that meets the Rio Claro, along river north or downstream from bridge.
