Plant description |
Epiphyte growing approximately 8m high. Green stems, green stipules, leaves lighter underneath, young leaves rolled. No smell. White latex. Dark green fruits clustered, elongated ovate. |
Locality and habit remarks |
Magdelena Valley forest. Evergreen tropical lowland rainforest on karst. Non-specific epiphyte growing on different trees (average height of trees 30m). Surrounded by ferns, terrestrial Araceae, and Leguminosae. Locally abundant. E. side Rio Claro (over the bridge). Right fork after the bridge. Collected 27m N.W. from the bridge. |
