Tree up to 25 m & 69 cm DBH; leaning at 50 degrees in umbrella span, angular messy branching from nodes; trunk musculate; dull brown outer bark with horizontal lenticels; orange inner bark, smells sweet/citrus, wood cream; branches brown at maturity and green young stems turning red at peduncles; inflorescences cream in bud, white corollas with granulate textured petals, flowers smell like honey; fruit recepticle green with dull purple at fruit stem, lime green young fruit. |
