Plant description	Small tree to 5 m height. Horizontal trunk 8 cm diameter, partially submerged. Stems erect, woody, 5 cm across, leaves clustered towards the apex. Bark and wood weak. Mucilaginous, strings stretching out from pith when cut. Petiole 6.5 x 0.8 cm. Lamina 45 x 21 cm, obovate, dull green above, light green beneath, rusty tinge both sides, many long erect hairs giving pinkinsh hue when viewed from an angle, with rough papery feel. Corolla white, anthers and stigmas yellow
