Plant description	Subrútice de hasta 1 m de altura, Muy abundante numerosas inflorescencias axilares. Ejes de la inflorescencia y escapo verdes; brácteas exteriores amarillas.
Locality and habit remarks	Camino hacia el embalse de Tominé. Bosque subpáramo dominado por Weinmannia tomentosa y Macleania rupestris, páramo dominado por Espeletiopsis corymbosa. Terreno muy empinado y bastante rocoso.
